This painting is from a dream, or perhaps it is a past-life memory, one of
New Orleans, where it was featured in Leilah Wendell's WESTGATE GALLERY which is
devoted to AZRAEL, the Angel of Death. In this painting, the figure of death is from the
Visconti-Sforza tarot, one of the oldest known to us. In the eighteenth and nineteenth
centuries, such parties were held, where the main entertainment would be the dissection of
a (stolen?) corpse. Perhaps this is a dream-memory of one
such gala occasion
